Renewable Diesel Supply to Keolis Commuter Services and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority


Spring, TX – May 15, 2025 – RenStar, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of ChemStar, Inc. based in Spring, Texas, has been awarded a Request for Proposal (RFP) contract for a pilot program to supply renewable diesel to Keolis Commuter Services (KCS), on behalf of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA). This award further reinforces RenStar’s leadership in sustainable fuel solutions and highlights its growing role in supporting the transition to low-carbon fuels within public transportation.


RenStar brings deep logistics expertise and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, reliable fuel solutions. Our team is well-positioned to support KCS and MBTA in their evaluation of renewable diesel, ensuring consistent fuel delivery and operational dependability throughout the 
pilot program.


As part of this initiative, RenStar is expanding its rail distribution network to optimize the transportation and supply of domestically produced renewable fuels across New England. By strengthening our supply chain infrastructure, we aim to improve fuel accessibility and reliability for public transit systems, paving the way for broader adoption of renewable diesel in the region.
